a watsonville man was arrested last night on suspicion of attacking his neighbor. 39 year-old roman cruz is accused of punching his neighbor several times after asking him about his red shirt. cruz was arrested on suspicion of battery, resisting arrest and participating in a gang. the victim was not affiliated with a gang.
