Authorities believe 2 separate armed bank robberies, that occurred Friday within hours of each other, are related. The 1st incident occurred when 2 suspects entered the North Davis Road Salinas Rabobank branch at around 9:20 A.M. Then at 1:15 P.M. in Watsonville, another robbery took place at the Bay Federal Credit Union on Freedom Boulevard. In both crimes, the suspects ordered everyone inside the bank to the ground at gunpoint. A driver in a getaway car waited for the men after each of the robberies. Police believe the suspects in each case are the same men.
