A Salinas man who was out on bail, was re-arrested over the weekend on multiple charges. 25-year-old Edgar Navarro was arrested on Saturday night, after allegedly leading Salinas police officers on a high-speed chase. Police say officers tried to pull over a vehicle at Noice Drive and Chapparal Street, but the car sped away. Officers found it abandoned on the 3-hundred block of Rochex Avenue, and determined that the car belonged to Navarro. He was located nearby, and led officers on a foot-chase through multiple backyards. Navarro was tazed after running into the China Garden restaurant. He was booked into Monterey County Jail on multiple charges, including resisting arrest. Police are still looking for a 2nd-suspect..
