A rock slide, that dumped tons of rock last month blocking dozens of homes on a Scotts Valley Road, is expected to take months before the debris is cleared. Geologists say they need more time to study the slide that occurred on Nelson Road on March 21st, and expect to finish a report on it by early June. Public Works officials, meanwhile, said it would take over 2,000 truckloads to haul debris from the road.
