A 17-year old Boulder Creek girl was killed yesterday afternoon after crashing her car into a tree near Big Basin. The 4:30 p.m. collision occurred when the teen was traveling Eastbound on Highway 236 at a high-rate of speed, before she lost control of her 1996 Toyota Camry, and drove off the road at Country Villa. officials say the vehicle collided with a large tree before it rolled over. The girl was pronounced dead at the scene.The collision is currently under investigation.
