A big-rig hauling vegetables caught fire this morning on highway-156, near hollister. The 4-a.m. Blaze took several hours to extinguish, due to the plastic-covered pallets holding the produce. The section of the highway between san felipe road and highway-25 was closed until 8-a.m.. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire, which started in the truck’s tractor, is under investigation.
