LOW RADIATION LEVELS FOUND IN U.S. MILK 04-01-11 07:00 a.v.

Low-levels of radiation have been found in milk sold from 2 West Coast States. According to Federal and State authorities, who have been monitoring contamination from Japan’s nuclear crisis, traces of Radioactive Iodine 131 were found in a March 25th milk sample from Spokane, Washington, and a similar result was found on March 28th in San Luis Obispo County. Officials say the levels are still 5,000 times below levels of concern, and do not represent a public health threat.
