A hearing date was set in Monterey County today to determine whether a convicted sex offender will remain under state supervision. Under the state’s conditional-release program, 51-year old convicted child molester James Lamb, was being treated as an “out” patient for the past 2 years. A hearing is required by the state 30-days of the expiration period of the out-patient treatment, which is Sunday March 27th. The estimated 2-day hearing is slated to take place on May 26th . The case is said to return to court before then on May 3rd for a status update.
