Officials with the Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor reopened the harbor today to all boat traffic. Crews determined water depth for the main channel was safe and clear of any submerged vessels. The launch ramp will however, remain closed, but is expected to reopen tomorrow. Harbor officials warn that despite reopening the harbor to boat traffic, there is still no water service or power on some of the dock areas that were damaged as a result of tsunami surges caused by the earthquake in japan on March 11th.
