A proposed plan for the downtown area of the City of Marina is slated to be presented next week. The draft Downtown Vitalization Specific Plan and it’s supporting Environmental Impact Report are expected to be rolled out during a community meeting planned for Wednesday March 30th. The downtown plan, which will serve as a long-term development guide for central Marina, takes in about 220 acres of private properties in an area bounded by Reservation Road, Del Monte Boulevard, and Reindollar, Sunset, Carmel and Crescent Avenues.
