A new year-round farmers market gets underway this week in Monterey County. The certified farmer’s market will be open every Wednesday in Salinas at Natividad Medical Center located at 1441 Constitution Boulevard, outside of the Out-Patient Services building, building 200. The market will kick off with special offerings from 11:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Among the weekly offerings will be fruits and vegetables, including many certified organics, flowers, eggs, and gifts from small family farms.
