a hawaiian big-wave surfer died at the mavericks surf break while surfing up to 60 foot waves yesterday. 35 year-old sion milosky of kauai, hawaii drowned around 6:30 p.m. after enduring a two-wave hold down. milosky was named the north shore underground surfer of the year last month. he is survived by his wife and his two young daughters.
