The County of Santa Cruz Office of Emergency Services has declared March 20th through March 26th Tsunami Awareness and Preparedness Week. A community meeting will be held on Monday March 21st at 7 p.m. at the Santa Cruz Police Department Community Room located at 155 Center Streen Santa Cruz. All county residents are invited to hear nationally recognized tsunami experts, speak about the potential threat and science of tsunamis, and how they might affect Santa Cruz County residents.
