1,700 people in the Rio Del Mar area in Santa Cruz County have been without power since just before 8 a.m. today. PG&E Officials say crews responded to the 7:50 a.m. report, and are on scene working to quickly and safely restore power back to customers as soon as possible. The outage is affecting customers on parts of Rio Del Mar Boulevard, Clubhouse and Cathedral Drives. Officials estimate power to be restored by noon today.
