A public meeting to discuss converting solid waste into electricity is slated for tomorrow in Gonzales. The Salinas Valley Solid Waste Authority will hold the meeting on the plasma gasification process at 6:30 p.m. in the gymnasium of Gonzales High School at 501 5th Street. The meeting is an effort to familiarize residents with the plasma waste installation process that’s slated for the Johnson Canyon Landfill, located East of Gonzales.
