A power outage in the Downtown Santa Cruz area left roughly 2,800 PG&E customers without power this morning. The outage was initially reported at 10:30 a.m. Power was restored to over 25-hundred customers as of 11 a.m. The remaining customers are expected to have their power restored by early this afternoon. The areas currently being affected by the outage include parts of East Santa Cruz, the Seabright area, and some areas along Ocean and Water Street.
