The San Lorenzo Valley Water District is accepting proposals for a program aimed at improving the health of the San Lorenzo River watershed. Proposals will be accepted through March 9th for it’s 2011 Education Grant Program. Funding of up to $2,500 is available for 7 projects. District leaders are said to be interested in promoting such projects that include surveying and mapping activities that focus on identifying organisms, invasive species and large, woody material in stream corridors.
