Authorities in Santa Cruz have not yet released the identity of a woman who jumped to her death this morning from an Aptos overpass onto Highway-1. Ambulances were called to the scene at State Park Drive, but were cancelled after the victim was declared dead at the scene. The incident was reported at 8:30 this morning. Northbound Highway-1 was shut down in the area of Rio Del Mar and State Park Drive for nearly 3 hours before it was reopened at around 11 a.m.
