A wanted Oregon man was arrested after a suspicious vehicle was stopped in Salinas this week. Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputies pulled a “blacked out” Chevrolet pick-up truck over Wednesday night at around 9:24 on the 1200 block of De La Torre Street. Deputies say the driver of the truck, 38-year old Wayne Archie Woodruff, admitted to not having a driver’s license, he also had a felony warrant for armed robbery in Portland, Oregon. Woodruff was tased after resisting arrest, he was taken into custody and booked in Monterey County Jail.
