The City of Santa Cruz is expected to present a proposal next month to The Coastal Commission about building a hotel at the site of a historic Beach Street apartment complex. Commissioners are expected to hear a request to build a 125-room hotel and condominium complex at the site of the La Bahia Apartments. The commission is slated to meet March 10th at the Board of Supervisors Chamber in the Santa Cruz County Office Building at 701 Ocean Street during their visit next month in Santa Cruz.
