The driver of a sports utility vehicle was hospitalized after crashing into a Santa Cruz home last night. The 10:30 p.m. incident occurred when the driver lost control of his SUV on Mission Street and Miramar Drive, and drove through 2 fences, a courtyard, and finally came to rest after smashing into the corner of the home. The driver fled from the area but was found at Miramar Drive and King Street with a head injury. He was taken into custody before being taken to the hospital.
