SALINAS VEHICLE SHOOTING 02-04-11 06:00 a.v.

No injuries were reported after multiple gunshots were fired into an occupied vehicle last night in Salinas. Police say an 18-year old man was stopped on Williams Road and Freedom Parkway at a stoplight at around 8:30 p.m., when a gunman standing near the vehicle, fired a shot missing the man and then fired another shot, again missing him. The victim was able to drive away uninjured. The gunman was described as 19 to 20 years of age, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a white piece of cloth covering his face. He was last seen fleeing into a light-colored sedan.
