A sanity review is still awaiting completion for an Aptos woman who killed her 3-year old daughter over 2-years ago. 38-year old Veva Virgil faces murder and other charges for allegedly smothering her daughter, Isabella Grace Martinez, to death in a Watsonville Motel room on November 16th 2008. Virgil appeared in court today for a hearing over a psychiatric report, which is still pending. Santa Cruz County judge Paul Burdick ordered the report to be finished by the next hearing set for April 5th. Virgil has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity for the incident.
