Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a shooting in Watsonville last night. The just after 10 p.m. incident occurred on West Beach Drive near the Santa Cruz-Monterey County line. Deputies say someone in a car threw rocks at a person before firing shots at them. The victim was hospitalized, meanwhile Deputies are looking for a white Ford Taurus last seen speeding towards Highway-1 in connection with the shooting.
