2 people killed during a train accident Sunday in Monterey County have been identified Police say 48-year old Steven Russell and 50-year old Priscilla Flores, both Fresno residents, died after their truck was hit by a passenger train traveling southbound in the Elkhorn Slough area. The couple was pronounced dead at the scene after the 1:15 p.m. collision that occurred at a non-gated railroad crossing at the entrance of Kirby Park off Elkhorn Road. No injuries were reported to the 150 passengers aboard the train which was headed for Los Angeles.
