A man accused of trying to kill 4 people at a downtown Monterey bar on New Year’s Day, has pleaded not guilty. Greenfield resident, Alejandro Gonzalez, was back in court today facing further arraignment on 4 counts of attempted murder. He is accused of being the gunman in the New Year’s Day shooting at the Mucky Duck Bar and Restaurant that left 3 people injured. Gonzalez, a known Norteno gang member is slated to appear back in court on February 2nd.
