A 38-year old Santa Cruz man was sentenced to one year in jail for threatening a man with a machete after a road rage incident last October. Cheyenne Beren Young was arrested on October 20th after he and a 35-year old Scotts Valley man got into a fight over an aggressive driving incident on Highway-1. Young pleaded guilty in November to assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury. The victim suffered injuries to a shin and a finger. Young is expected to begin his jail sentence next month.
