A 90-year old San Jose man suffered fatal injuries after losing control of his car and colliding into a tree on Bear Creek Road yesterday. The man was driving a green Chevrolet Cavalier at 55 miles per hour just before 6 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve, drove off the shoulder of the road struck the tree. The man died at the scene, meanwhile, the westbound lane of Bear Creek Road West of Chase Road was shut down for about 3 hours during the investigation.
