Police in Hollister arrested 3 suspects in connection with burglarizing a restaurant Monday. Police arrived to a burglary in progress just after 1:30 a.m. at the El Michoacano Restaurant on San Juan Road to find 23-year old Jose Ramiro Gutierrez and a juvenile female standing in front of a broken business window before running from officers. Police caught the two after a brief foot chase, then later found a 17-year old female hiding under a table inside the restaurant. The burglars were reportedly trying to steal beer and chips, as well as $150, that was found on one of the 3 people arrested.
