A “positive loitering” event is slated to take place this evening in Santa Cruz. The group “Take Back Santa Cruz” has organized the event, which is scheduled to occur at Ocean and Franklin streets from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., in an effort to bring attention to drug dealing and other problems on Ocean Street. The anti-crime group is expected to be joined tonight by the Ocean’s 11 Neighborhood Watch Group. For more information, visit the group’s Facebook page.
