Chase, Arrest 01/16/11 TDH

A 46-year-old Prunedale man was arrested early Sunday morning, after leading authorities on a high-speed motorcycle chase.   Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputies tried to pull James Hess over because they suspected he was riding a stolen motorcycle.  Hess led deputies from Dolan Road, (near Moss Landing), to Linda Vista Place, (in Prunedale).  Deputies say Hess abandoned the motorcycle there, and fled into the woods.  He was located with the help of a Salinas Police Dog (named Enzo).     Hess was found to be on probation, in possession of burglary tools, and was driving with a suspended license.
