Santa Cruz Police Officers arrested 2-people on Friday night, after they allegedly broke into a house on Hanover Street. Police said in a release, that the victims came home at 10:15 p.m., and found people inside their house. It is believed that 1-suspect got away, but 18-year-old Dennis Welch was arrested, along with a 17-year-old. The minor was booked into juvenile hall, and Welch was taken to Santa Cruz County Jail. Both face multiple charges, including residential burglary.
