2 teenagers were arrested in Santa Cruz Wednesday in connection with a car burglary. A 15-year old boy and a 17 year old were spotted by neighbors breaking into a car near Poplar Avenue and Parnell Street. Police responded to the area and chased the boys through the backyards of several homes in the area. The boys were taken into custody near Stanford Avenue and Water Street.The stolen property was returned to it’s owners and the boys were booked into Juvenile Hall on suspicion of auto burglary, fleeing arrest, possession of burglary tools and conspiracy.
