The SPCA of Santa Cruz County has received a new storage shed, after having one vandalized last weekend. Thieves stole hundreds of pounds of dog food, and ruined the shed. Local residents helped fund the purchase and installation of the new, 13-hundred square foot shed. The SPCA of Santa Cruz County has also acquired a new building. The organization closed escrow on a half-acre property on Friday, which is 2-doors down from its current location on Chanticleer Avenue, (in the Live Oak area of Santa Cruz).
