6-emaciated horses were rescued today from a king-city-area property by the spca for monterey county. the stallion and 5-mares were found neglected on a property on lockwood san lucas roads. a 7th horse was found dead on the property, as were the remains of sheep. authorities are searching for the owner of the property.
