A flood warning was issued by the National Weather Service over the weekend in Monterey County. The warning was first issued at 2 p.m. yesterday for recent rainfall that was heavy enough to induce flooding along the river near Lockwood. The warning remained in effect until 11 p.m. last night. Flood prone areas included but were not limited to the San Antonio River in South Monterey County.
