A woman was arrested this week in Santa Cruz on suspicion of committing multiple crimes including vehicle theft. Mary Moreno was arrested and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail after she was pulled over in a vehicle that had been reported stolen earlier in the month. A CHP officer spotted the blue Volkswagen Golf, being driven by Moreno on Highway-1 southbound near Buena Vista Drive, when she was pulled over and arrested. Moreno and the make and model of her car were reported in the area of Trevethan and Parnell yesterday after she was seen loitering around people’s homes.
