A fire that damaged a Prunedale house early Christmas morning is being investigated. The blaze broke out Saturday at midnight on the 9500 block of Prunedale Road South. Firefighters say no one was home at the time of the blaze which burned through the roof and floor, causing $175,000 worth in damages. Fire officials believe the fire started in the rear of the home.
