Cal-Fire reminds everyone to use caution when using fireplaces, wood stoves, candles, lights this holiday season. Tri-County residents are reminded to always use a metal can with a lid when disposing ashes, and store the container outside away from your home and combustible materials. Cal-Fire also recommends keeping trees at least 3-feet away from heat sources. Use outdoor lights and indoor lights in an appropriate manner, and never leave lit candles unattended.
