1 person was arrested in connection with a shooting, that took place in the Live Oak area of Santa Cruz last night . The just-after-8 p.m. incident occurred near the intersection of 17th Avenue and Portola Drive after an argument broke out between 2 groups of people in a parking lot near East Cliff Village Shopping Center. The victim, who suffered a gunshot wound to the arm, was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police, who say the incident was gang related, are searching for 2 Latino men in their mid-20’s.e parking lot of a shopping center
