A former Hartnell College student, accused of stabbing his younger brother to death 3-years ago, was released from Monterey County Jail earlier than expected this week. Langston Williams the 3rd was sentenced to spend 1-year in jail after pleading No Contest to involuntary manslaughter with a weapon enhancement in the stabbing death of his brother, Thaddeus Williams over the use of a computer back in October of 2007. Williams, who was slated to be released January 9th, was released for the holidays after Monterey County Sheriff Mike Kanalakis, wrote a letter to the judge supporting his early release.
