A 21-year-old man accused of kidnapping and robbing a los gatos family in 2009, has been given a court date. Jyler Raines has been ordered to return to court on January 11th, to face charges that he kidnapped, assaulted, and robbed a family of 3. The family was held at their Hidden Springs Lane home, and were robbed of vehicles, jewelry, and firearms. Raines is alleged to have committed the crime along with Maurice Ainsworth. Ainsworth escaped custody for 5-hours last month, after assaulting a sheriff’s deputy. The 2-are expected to appear in court together.
