A QUARANTINE WAS TRIGGERED AFTER A citrus-destroying pest WAS found in Ventura CountY. The adult Asian citrus psyllid, which is smaller than a grain of rice, was found in a trap in the coastal TOWN of La Conchita. Inspectors are NOW working to determine the extent of the infestation. Ventura County has 24 THOUSAND acres of commercial citrus.
