Local Assemblyman Luis Alejo has been appointed to a number of committees within the state assembly. Alejo was appointed to serve as the vice-chairman of the 2011-2012 Assembly Local Government Committee. Alejo has also been appointed to serve as a member of the Joint Legislative Audit Committee, the Budget Committee, the Budget Subcommittee Number 5 on Public Safety, the Labor and Employment Committee, and the Rules Committee. Luis Alejo represents the 28th District in the California State Assembly.
