Two men were attacked and robbed during two separate incidents this week in Santa Cruz. The first incident occurred Wednesday when a 22-year old man walking in the Seabright area was attacked just after 12:15 a.m. near the corner of Cayuga and Hanover Streets. The man was punched in the face by one of 2 men who demanded his wallet. Nearly an hour later, a 34-year old man walking down a staircase near the railroad bridge at East Cliff Drive in Seabright, was robbed at knifepoint. The man was hit from behind by one of 4 men who demanded his wallet. Police ask anyone with information to contact the Santa Cruz Police Department.
