A lock-down placed on 2 Greenfield Schools this morning was canceled after a manhunt for an armed suspect was called off. Greenfield Police Officers went door-to-door in the area of Scott Circle and Heidi Street just before 11 a.m. searching for a gang member who brandished a handgun after he was approached by an officer. Vista Verde Middle School and Greenfield High School were on lock-down for an hour and a half prior to law enforcement officers ending their search. No shots were fired, no injuries were and no arrests were made. The lock-down was lifted as of 12:20 p.m.
