A small fire in a Capitola antique shop over the weekend, was extinguished before any serious damage was done. Fire crews responded to a report of a structure fire at 8:40 Saturday morning. The fire started in the storage room of a store on the 6-hundred block of Capitola Road, and was extinguished before it could spread. No antiques were involved in the fire, however smoke damage could cause some losses. No injuries were reported in the incident.
