Monterey County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting that that left one man dead last night in Salinas. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene after sustaining a gunshot wound to the face at around 10 p.m. at a home just outside the city limits of Salinas on the 16000 block of El. Ranchero Way. Neighbors living nearby said a man in his mid-30s lived at the residence.
