Smart meters continue 12/03/10 TDH

The california public utilities commission has voted to refuse to impose a moratorium on pg&e’s smart meters.   Commissioners voted 4 to 1 yesterday against the moratorium, which had been proposed by the group e.m.f. safety network.   The group is concerned about the wireless meters’ health risks.  Commissioners agreed with pg&e, which maintains that the meters are safe, however the commission did urge further testing of the devices.
