Firefighters in North Monterey County extinguished a fire that broke out early this morning in the Las Lomas area. Early reports of the 3 a.m. structure fire on Thomas Road claim that a workshop was destroyed in the blaze. Investigations into what caused the fire continue, along with any other structures that may have been damaged by the blaze.
